DALL’ORTO FRUIT TRADING S.P.A. (DTF) takes care of all the operations, including dealing with customs in the import and export of the merchandise.

DFT’s MISSION
DFT was created to have direct control over every aspect of the production lines. That “production line” has a very specific schedule. It begins with the import of our produce to one of the ports we ship to all over the world. Next we follow the merchandise from the initial packaging in Central America and the first quality control, to the unloading stage in Europe, which includes the second quality control. From the port we supervise the last loading stage until the merchandise reaches the final client, in doing so we are able to offer our clients a service that is direct and efficient from the plantations to the consumer.
To amplify our business and increase our industrial activity, we have planned a line of new products including fresh cut, fruit juices and fruit concentrates.
*DFT was created to gain direct control and rights to every step of the process of importing exotic fruit. Importing our own produce, following the merchandise, from the loading in Central America and the first Quality control, to the unloading in Europe for the second Quality control, and from the reshipping in trucks until the arrival to the final client: in doing so, we are able to offer to our client a service that is not only direct but efficient as well, from the plantation to the stores.

STORY
DALL’ORTO FRUIT TRADING S.P.A. (DFT) was born in 2007 as the natural next step of DALL’ORTO S.A. After almost two years of the brand ‘DALL’ORTO’ in Europe, and after having consolidated the brand, thanks to select partners with which we still work, for reasons tied to having better control of the whole export and import processes, the need to open a European headquaters in Italy arose. Ergo the birth of DALL’ORTO FRUIT TRADING S.R.L.


TRANSPORT
The refrigerated containers come by sea from Port Moin in Costa Rica or Port of Santa Marta in Colombia, to one of our various destinations. Including the ports of Philadelphia, Rotterdam, Dover, Hamburg, Terragona, Wellingyon and Genoa.
In the Port of Genoa we keep refrigerated warehouses , in accordance with our contract with Clerici S.P.A. Logistics Group, which are kept ready for the unloading of the products.
